hi. my name is aria. i am 18. i like to mess around with code, make random dumb programs. overall, i just like to learn. i've always just been interested in how things work. as a kid i liked to take things apart, and attempt to put them back together. albeit, i usually just broke whatever i was messing with. im your average trans girl who is going to school for computer science. specifically at florida polytechnic university. the only reason i chose to study in florida is because i get my tuition paid for free here. i cant pass that up. our education system is bad, but hopefully i can lock in.

im a very secluded person. i like my time alone, and i spend most of my days online. i primarily take pictures of nature. i like the scenery. i usually take my photos in places that dont have many people around. im just naturally drawn to rural and serene areas. one person that i really look up to in photography is ansel adams. his work is really inspiring and beautiful. i hope to be half as good as a photographer as he was one day.

what probably drew me to computers more was that i used them as an escape. ive grown up in a household that is very very very christian. they do not accept, acknowledge, or support me. i am constantly deadnamed, misgendered, etc. i don't care if they do use my proper name or pronouns, it doesn't bother me that much. but it's more of the constant making sure that i know they don't accept who i am. so needless to say, i try to stay away from them as much as possible. this mostly pertains to my dad though. my mom is pretty chill.

i would not say i have proficiency in anything yet. i am still learning and quite new to it. python is my most proficient language though.

i have made a few projects over time. none are that impressive in my opinion. you can count this one as a project; albeit, not a great one. this page was designed on a vertical monitor for preview. the banner looks best at 1080x1920.
